Here are some upcoming Christmas and other special events planned for Prairie Chic Handcrafts & Antiques store in Herington.

• Art class, Dec. 21,  it’s a $12 class fee + $3 supply fee. Call or text (785) 571-3955 to register.

• Market Day, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14. We are offering our special vendor rates $2/sq. ft. in advance, $3/sq. ft. on the day of the event) for you to sell your items from your own table on a "cash and carry" basis. Roger and Sabrina Burt, with 2 Guns Barbeque, will be selling Pulled Pork Sandwiches and Smokehouse Chili to help pay for their recent medical expenses.
  
• Extra Christmas Shopping Days, We will be open for special hours of 1-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22 and 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24 (or by appointment outside those hours - call me at (785) 571-3955) to offer shoppers more time for LAST MINUTE PURCHASES!
• Wintertime Blues Bruised Crafts Competition, 11 a.m.  Jan. 3. Finish out your Winter Break with something fun to do for all ages (14+ or all ages with adult supervision)! No entry fee, with $150 total in prizes! Watch for more about this event in the future here on the blog.

We are Prairie Chic Handcrafts and Antiques at 9 S. Broadway Herington, KS. Come on in and consign your furniture here, or check out our other vendor booths with vintage and handmade items while you are here, or consider us if you need climate-controlled indoor storage units on a monthly basis, also. If you have items that you are not interested in selling, but need more space in your home, we offer climate-controlled indoor storage units on a monthly basis, also. We have 10' x 10' for $105 a month or 5' x 7' for $65 a month, plus a $20 one-time administration fee to start your lease. We're open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday though Saturday and by appointment Sunday through Tuesday.
