It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas inside Prairie Chic!

Do you have someone on your Christmas gift list who is hard to shop for? What about a gift certificate to Prairie Chic? We have SO many unique items that are handcrafted original items, or even musical instruments, or simple antique household items, or even quality used furniture pieces! There's sure to be one that your loved one would choose to add a memorable item to his or her home. Keep in mind that if you have items that you are not interested in selling, but need more space in your home, we offer climate-controlled indoor storage units on a monthly basis, also. We have 10' x 10' for $105 a month or 5' x 7' for $65 a month, plus a $20 one-time administration fee to start your lease. We are open until at least 8 p.m. tonight for the festival and also from 5-7 p.m. Sunday during our Prairie Chic Painting Class!

Speaking of the upcoming holiday, it's now beginning to look a lot like Christmas inside Prairie Chic Handcrafts & Antiques store. And that's a great thing, considering today is the Herington Annual Holiday Festival. We have one special vendor currently set up and ready to sell her items inside our store, Lisa's Scarves and Such.
Even so, we can still take YOU as a vendor to sell your items on a cash and carry basis. Our rate is $3 per square foot on the day of the show. You set up your own items on your own table, and pay according to the size. Sorry, but if you have a circular table, it is measured on the square. So come on down and get your area set up to sell your items during the Festival this evening!

Now, here are some views of our Christmas decorations we have placed around the store, to help us create a vintage and antique holiday atmosphere.

These antique decorations are for sale inside a vendor booth!
Some Christmas lights on our map, which is priced at $89 and stands 6' in height!
We have poinsettia on our antique pipe organ, priced at $999.
Here are some pictures of our window lights.

And, here are some of the activities planned for the festival today.
We have our Classic Christmas Music Radio station playing, so come on down and shop before the festival, or after the parade at 6 p.m.  Here is a map of the downtown activities going on this evening.
We are open until at least 8 p.m. tonight and from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday also!

We are located at 9 S. Broadway Herington, KS. We're open Wednesdays though Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and by appointment on Sundays through Tuesdays.  If you would like to call with your questions or to reserve your space, please call the store at (785) 258-8004 or call the store manager, Stephanie Gilbert, at (785) 571-3955!
