Upcycle Kind of Style: Vintage Suitcases

I consider myself a generally crafty person with an eye for creative opportunities. But this past couple days I've been exploring through the amazing world of Pinterest and I've never felt so "Level 1" in the artistic department! Now for those of you who don't know, I'm fairly new to Prairie Chic, and I'm even newer to the Herington Community. I'm in the (long and exhausting) process of moving into a new apartment and that means decorating. Lots and LOTS of decorating! It's only natural that I use my inventive skills to use what I can from Prairie Chic to support not only my vendors but to also provide inspiration and visual ideas to those who read our blog, follow our Facebook and shop our store.
With this being said, I feel compelled to share some of these genius ideas for upcycling crafts. As of today, I will post a new DIY or repurposing blog post each week to accommodate items featured in our store and several exceptionally brilliant ideas on what you can do with them or use them for! Today's item is going to be Vintage Suitcases! Vintage Suitcases seem to have become increasingly popular and people have used them for some amazing projects! They can be used for storage, surfaces, decoration, shelving and so much more! Below are several ideas and pictures that have been found off of Pinterest and Prairie Chic does not own the pictures or rights to them.

The images below are suitcases for sale at Prairie Chic Handcrafts & Antiques located at 9 S. Broadway, Herington, KS 67449.

If you have requests for ideas of certain items feel free to contact me (Manager of Prairie Chic, McKenzie Schultz) through a Facebook message here or through an e-mail at prairiechickansas@gmail.com, or through a text or call at my cell phone: 785-571-3955.
